Managing DVM

Spending many weekends on my grandparent’s farm in Ohio, I had quite an early exposure to animals. Throughout my childhood, it was evident though, that my greatest passion for animals was that for cats and dogs. There was never a time when a furry friend was not far behind or nestled in my arms.

Upon graduation from college, I attended vet school at Ross University and moved to Florida where I completed my clinical and surgical training at the University of Florida in 2012. My professional interests would quickly evolve to include senior medicine, advanced pain management, and dentistry. I have been fortunate to attend extensive training in both canine and feline dentistry with advanced dental extraction. I have also completed multiple courses in abdominal ultrasound with both the NAVC Institute and The University of Florida.

In 2015, I was certified by the University of Tennessee in Companion Animal Pain Management and Laser Therapy and am now a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Practitioners (IVAPP). Additionally, I am also a proud member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). As All Creatures Animal Clinic is one of only a few animal hospitals within the region to now be recognized as an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) certified facility, I am tremendously honored to be our team's AAHA Practice Director.

I am thankful for the incredible team that I work with and for the community of pet owners we serve each day. I believe being a veterinarian is truly a privilege. To witness the love between people and their pets and to then be entrusted with their pet's care is why I believe being a veterinarian is such an extraordinary career.

In my free time, I enjoy swimming, gardening, cooking with my husband, and reading with my kids, Jordan and Julianna. We also have two fur babies and a tortoise.
