I was born and raised in Polk County. Dr. Latter took care of my family’s animals before we moved to Lake Wales! I earned a B.S. in environmental science and an M.S. in soil science from the University of Florida. I was an environmental scientist for a state agency in Florida for 4 years before pursuing my childhood dream of becoming a vet. I am a proud graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. I am a vet because of the human-animal bond. Our pets provide us with unconditional love and there are many proven health benefits of pet ownership! I am Human-Animal Bond certified and I cherish the love we give and receive from our pets. I am also Fear Free certified. If your dog or cat is nervous at the vet, I have ways to help! My clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and internal medicine. My hobbies are makeup and dogs. Most days, you will see me in elaborate and colorful eyeshadow. I have a pack of 8 (mostly) tiny dogs. However, this number can fluctuate. I love Chihuahuas and have a major weakness for their sassy attitudes and giant ears. I look forward to helping clients of All Creatures Animal Clinic keep their 4-legged family members happy and healthy!
