I grew up in Lakeland and was lucky enough to have parents that allowed me to indulge in my fascination of all types of animals. After graduating from college with a degree in Zoology, I worked at All Creatures for a short time before following my passion of working with exotics. I worked as a zookeeper at Lowry Park Zoo, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Cypress Gardens. I worked with Indian Rhinos, Sumatran Tigers and Bactrian Camels, Chimpanzees, Giraffe, Zebra and Wildebeest.

Through all of my years in the different zoos, I especially enjoyed guest education. I am now lucky to be back where I started so many years ago. Being back at All Creatures Animal Clinic, I am able to work in an environment that puts the care of the animals as a priority and I am able to spend my days educating clients on the best ways to provide care for their pets. I feel like I have come full circle and am blessed to work in such a family friendly environment. My family consists of my husband, two children, and many pets, which include snakes, lizards, frogs, tortoises, one dog, two cats, and two animals in rehab to be released.
